Wines

Daisy Pinot Grigio 2022- $14.99/btl $2.50/taste

Columbia Valley, Washington

“Pinot Grigio” hardly sums up the blend on this wine. Sure, it’s in there, but so is Riesling, Moscato and Sauvignon Blanc. These grape varietals do especially well in Washington as the state shares the same latitude as Lyon, France, most of Austria and Western Switzerland. Cool, huh?

“Les Granites Blues” Beaujolais Villages 2022- $19.99/btl $2.50/taste

Burgundy, France

Gamay. Gamay Noir a Jus Blanc has overcome much adversity. Despite its being heartier and earlier ripening than Pinot Noir, it has been historically and harshly rebuked for NOT being Pinot Noir. Rude. For a period of time, the Duke of Burgundy “Phillipe the Bold’ (yeah RIGHT) outlawed its production in the region. This was in 1395. You guys. “Beaujolais” wasn’t established as an AOC in France until 1936!!!

The Whole SheBang!- $17.99/btl $2.50/taste

California

From Bedrock Wine Co, the Whole SheBang is comprised of Zinfandel, Syrah, Carignan, Petite Sirah, Mataro and the rest of the house, minus the kitchen sink. Fermented with indigenous yeasts, native malolactic strains, and rested in a combination of neutral oak barrels and stainless-steel tanks. It’s intended to be non-vintage and the cuvee is in flux from bottling to bottling, yet it’s always fruit-forward and delicious.

Requiem Cabernet Sauvignon 2022- $19.99/btl $2.50/taste

Columbia Valley, Washington

Cabernet Sauvignon from three distinct AVAs: Red Mountain, Walla Walla and Horse Heaven Hills, vinified separately and then blended together after a lot of very scientific trials, searching for the perfect expression of over-performance.
